Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and agreements concluded through the Dreads&Deco webshop.

By placing an order and agreeing to these terms, an agreement is formed between Dreads&Deco and the customer.
We kindly ask you to read these terms carefully before placing an order.

Article 1 – Identity of the Entrepreneur

Article 2 – Applicability

2.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer made by Dreads&Deco and to every distance contract concluded.
2.2 Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

Article 3 – The Offer

3.1 All products are described as clearly and completely as possible.
3.2 Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer do not bind Dreads&Deco.
3.3 Images are indicative. Minor differences in color, size, or finish may occur, especially with handmade products.

Article 4 – The Agreement

4.1 The agreement is concluded at the moment the customer agrees to these General Terms and Conditions and the payment has been successfully completed.
4.2 After placing an order, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email.
4.3 Dreads&Frutsels reserves the right to refuse an order in cases of suspected misuse, abuse, or fraud.

Article 5 – Prices and Payment

5.1 All prices are inclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise.
5.2 Shipping costs are clearly stated before completing the order.
5.3 Payment must be made in full in advance using the available payment methods.
5.4 The price applicable at the time of ordering is binding.

Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

6.1 Standard Products

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product, without stating any reason.
After withdrawal, the consumer has an additional 14 days to return the product.

Return shipping costs are at the consumer’s expense.
After receipt of the returned product, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer may contact Dreads&Deco via info@dreadsenfrutsels.nl.
A model withdrawal form is available upon request.

6.2 Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal – Custom-Made Products

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that:

are custom-made or tailored to the customer
are produced on demand
have a personal character

This includes, but is not limited to:

synthetic dread sets and extensions
“made to order” products
products with a specific or extended delivery time

This exclusion is in accordance with Article 6:230p sub f of the Dutch Civil Code.

6.3 Hygienic Products

The right of withdrawal is excluded for hygienic products, including:

shower caps and sleep caps
care products whose seal has been broken

Article 7 – Shipping and Delivery

7.1 Orders are shipped every Monday.
7.2 Shipping takes place from Croatia via Hrvatska Pošta.
7.3 After dispatch, parcels are transferred to the national postal service of the destination country, including but not limited to:

Netherlands → PostNL
Belgium → Bpost
Germany → DHL
France → La Poste
Spain → Correos
Italy → Poste Italiane
Austria → Österreichische Post

Shipments to all other countries are handled by the local postal or delivery service.

7.4 The average delivery time is approximately 5 working days, calculated from the next shipping Monday.
7.5 All parcels are shipped registered and are not delivered to neighbors.
7.6 If the customer is not at home, the parcel will be delivered to a pickup point and must be collected within 7 days.

7.7 If a parcel is not collected within the stated time frame and is returned to Dreads&Deco, the purchase amount will be refunded minus €10 return shipping costs.
7.8 New shipping costs apply for reshipment.

Article 8 – Shipping Costs

Shipping within Europe

Due to increased postal rates, fixed shipping costs apply per parcel.
Dreads&Deco contributes to part of these costs.

Orders up to €50 → €7.50
Orders from €50 → €6.95

Shipping outside the EU

USA – Shipping to the United States
Due to current shipping restrictions at Hrvatska Pošta, we are currently unable to ship orders to the United States.
As soon as international shipping to the USA becomes available again, this will be announced on our website.

Worldwide: delivery time varies per country and postal system

Shipping costs: €12.50 with Track & Trace

Any import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

Article 9 – Complaints Procedure

9.1 Complaints must be reported as soon as possible after discovery.
9.2 Complaints will be handled within 14 days.
9.3 If a product arrives damaged, this must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.

Article 10 – Liability

10.1 Dreads&Frutsels is not liable for damage resulting from improper or incorrect use of its products.
10.2 Liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned.
10.3 This limitation of liability does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, nor does it affect statutory rights relating to personal injury.

Article 11 – Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights belong to Dreads&Deco.
Nothing from this website may be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission.

Article 12 – Applicable Law

All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
