At Dreads& We have been lovingly selling dreadlocks spirals from various brands for years.
 
Dreadspirals work great as a replacement for elastics that are too tight.
'Regular' elastics often pinch your dreads, causing pinching and breaking points.
The chance of this happening is significantly greater if you often wear your dreads in the same way. For example, because of your work or sport.
You also often have to turn regular elastics twice to secure your bunch of dreads.

The following sizes are currently available : 
 
30cm XS: for extra smaller bunch dreads (or thin dreads and dreads up to approximately ear length) and partial dreadlocks
40 cm  S: for smaller bunch dreads (or thin dreads and dreads up to approximately ear length) and partial dreadlocks.
50 cm  M: for the average bunch of dreads (or average dreads up to about shoulder length) 
60 cm  L: for the thicker bunch of dreads (or longer dreads up to shoulder length)
80 cm XL: for larger updos and buns. And very large bunches of dreadlocks
